These sessions focus on hands-on materials, movement, and guided exploration, with parents actively participating alongside their children. What Is Sensory Play?

Sensory play encourages children to explore the world using touch, sight, sound, movement, and sometimes smell. Through age-appropriate materials and simple activities, children are invited to investigate textures, shapes, sounds, and motion at their own pace.

There is no pressure to perform, achieve, or follow rigid instructions.

 

How the Sessions Work

Each sensory play session is structured but flexible. A typical session includes:

Wunderkind sessions take place in Abu Dhabi and are designed to feel unhurried and welcoming. The focus is on quality over quantity, with attention to materials, space, and atmosphere. We set up the play environment in Abu Dhabi City, Saadiyat Island, Jubail Island, Khalifa City, Ramhan Island, Yas Island and Al Raha.
